Description:
GBT 18674-2018 12-strand High Modulus Polyethylene Fishery Ropes is constructed of six S-twist strands and six Z-strands arranged so that S-twist strands alternate(individually or in pairs) with Z-twist strands(individually or in pairs). High Modulus Polyethylene fiber is the third generation of special fiber in the world today.It is the polyethylene with a molecular weight of more than 3 million.The strength can be as high as 30.8cN/dtex. GBT 18674-2018 12-strand High Modulus Polyethylene Fishery Rope has good wear resistance, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, light resistance and other excellent properties. It can be made directly into mooring ropes, fishing nets and various fabrics.The disadvantage of high mudulus polythylene fishery rope is surface hardness and thermal deformation temperature are low, and the bending strength and creep performance are poor.

The breaking forces relate to new, dry ropes. 4.When the rope fracture position including splice eye,the minimum breaking strength should be reduced 10%. 5. A force determined by the test methods specified in GB/T 8834 is not necessarily an accurate indication of the force at which that rope might break in other circumstances and situations. The type and quality of terminations, the rate of force application, prior conditioning and previous force applications to the rope can significantly influence the breaking force. A rope bent around a post, capstan, pulley or sheave may break at a significantly lower force. A knot or other distortion in a rope may significantly reduce the breaking force. |
