8-Strand Polyester Multifilament Ropes
Description:
8-Strand Polyester Multifilament Ropes is made of 100% high strength polyester fiber.The desity of polyester is about 1.38kg/dm3. The eight-strand rope shall be composed of four pairs of rope strands, namely, two pairs of "S" twist and two pairs of "Z" twist. The maximum twist of the rope at the reference tension (the same tension used to determine line density) is 35 times the nominal diameter of the rope.It is produced on a laying machine,giving a round rope with excellent strength characteristics and bending fatigue.8-Strand polyester multifilament rope is widely used in general ship mooring, barge and dredging work rope, towing, lifting rigging and other fishing rope fields.
